Core Team

Our year-round crew that works behind the scenes—planning, building, and organizing every detail to ensure each event is ready for our seasonal cast to bring to life!

Nick and Jess

Owners

These two handle everything behind the scenes—from show creation and marketing to ticketing, operational prep, and rent (lol). They met in 2011 when Jess’ friends dragged her through Nick’s haunt and have shared a love for the industry and each other ever since. Nick leads marketing, ticketing, and tech, while Jess keeps things organized, and show-ready. After purchasing 13th Floor Columbus in 2020, they’ve continued working side by side with their incredible team to bring each production to life with passion and precision.

Marco

General Manager

Marco oversees sound, lighting, special effects, set design, crowd control, and operations bringing over 10 years of hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for immersive experiences. He’s been a driving force in this building since launching 13th Floor Columbus since in 2018 alongside Jess. From dazzling light shows to intricate set builds, Marco’s creativity and dedication elevate every production—whether it’s Halloween or his equally spirited Christmas displays. His energy and expertise help bring our live events to life.

Cam

Operations Lead

Cam works hand-in-hand with Marco during build season and events, ensuring everything comes together. Originally from Indiana, he brings a wealth of experience from working with several renowned haunts, adding a seasoned perspective to our creative process. Whether he’s crafting scenic details or jumping in on makeup, Cam’s versatility and dedication make him a powerhouse on our small but mighty team. His steady presence and all-in attitude have made him an indispensable part of what makes our events so memorable.

Gerardina

Staff Coordinator

G first joined us in 2017 and has been a standout performer ever since. In 2021, she took on the role of our first-ever icon character, captivating guests in the queue line for three unforgettable seasons. G continues to bring powerful presence and charisma to the forefront of our events as our Staff Coordinator, where she leads hiring, staff management, and day-to-day support. With her deep understanding of the entire haunt, G ensures every cast member shines and each show runs at peak performance.

Our leads guide the makeup, performance and event teams each night, helping bring the show to life with energy, creativity, and leadership from the front lines.

Daeshawn

Performance

A longtime haunt veteran dating back to the ScareAtorium days, Daeshawn now serves as our Performance Lead, guiding actors both in the attractions and queue lines. With unmatched energy and a deep passion for performance, he leads warm-ups, provides scene coaching, and supports the cast throughout each show night. Though G handles initial placement, Daeshawn works closely with her to fine-tune adjustments and ensure every actor shines. His ability to manage large casts with ease makes him an essential part of our nightly operation.

Cam

Operations

Cam will be the main point of contact for event staff, working directly with the Keepers to ensure the smoothest, easiest, and most fun night we can manage for Event Staff. Since he is on the Core team year round, he’s already got a more in depth bio about himself under that category. Kylee

Makeup

Kylee has been a staple in our makeup room since 2024 and creates the creepiest creatures each night along with her equally talented team of artists. Stepping into the makeup lead role, Kylee ensures everyone looks their best on top of keeping things moving, stocked, and clean!

When she’s not here bringing the monsters to live, Kylee enjoys mask making. She’s also a badass mom on top of it!

Our performance zone leads during operational nights that assist with guest flow, filling scenes, and ensuring all their actors are well taken care of.
