Event Staff
Welcome, Event Staff!
Here, you will find ALL Event Staff Positions and their descriptions. Positions or Descriptions for Special Events will be listed under the Position and marked to signify the Event. This will be updated and changed as needed.
Please note that what is currently on this page is a rough draft. Nothing is set in stone for Haunt Season 2025, and we are still working on where certain positions may be placed, what materials are needed, and what the responsibilities of each position are. Once these are finalized, this message will be deleted!
Event Lead
- Assigns staff positions and oversees nightly operations.
- Ensures completion of opening/closing tasks (e.g., cash registers, photo ops setup, placement).
- Keepers will ensure these things happen in their zones and report back to you.
- Handles guest concerns and coordinates with management.
- Completes and submits checklists; ensures protocol adherence.
Zone 1: Midway
Crypt Keeper
- Oversees Zone 1 and assists staff in this zone
- Assists with training while operational
- Ensures opening and closing checklists are done
- Ensures materials in their zones are stocked (inventory sheet will be provided)
- Provides staff in their zone with breaks
- Works directly with Event Lead whenever issues arise
Materials Needed

Outdoor Director
- Communicates prohibited items to guests outside of the Security Checkpoint
- Calls and Organizes Time Slot Lines
- Checks guests tickets to ensure they’re there at the correct time on the correct date
- Assists with Ticketing Issues
Materials Needed

- Traffic Wand
- Walkie-Talkie
Ticket Scanners
- Checks Guests in by scanning their tickets
- Sells Upgrades
- Ensures Guests are entering the correct line
- Oversees overflow between the Security checkpoint and lines

- Walkie-Talkie
Security
- Sits in the security office and monitors the cameras.
- Notifies us via walkie if you see any buildups or issues.
Materials Needed
- Walkie Talkie
Photo Ops*
- Greets Guests
- Takes Photos based Lead’s directions
- How many photos get taken based off ticket sales
- Relays Rules to Guests
- Sends Guests to Pacing Director, if applicable
- If there is not a pacing director, Photo Ops will guide guests out and direct them on which way to go

Zone 2: Attractions
Crypt Keeper
- Oversees Zone 2 and assists staff in this zone
- Assists with training while operational
- Ensures opening and closing checklists are done
- Ensures materials in their zones are stocked (inventory sheet will be provided)
- Provides staff in their zone with breaks
- Works directly with Event Lead whenever issues arise

Indoor Director
- Paces guests inside the Queue Lines based on Marco’s directions
- Timing is based on Ticket Sales
- Communicates with Door Ushers
- Communicates any issues to Event Lead

Front Queue
- Greets Guests
- Manages Immediate Access entry, Fast Pass Entry, and General Admission Entry
- Pace Guests into Photo Ops
Materials Needed
- Headset Belt Pack
- Walkie-Talkie
Pacing Director
- Paces Guests in whichever spot needed
- Greets Guests and relays basic rules, if applicable
Materials Needed
- Talk Box
- Traffic Wand
Photo Ops*
- Greets Guests
- Takes Photos based on Lead’s directions
- How many photos get taken based off ticket sales
- Relays Rules to Guests
- Sends Guests to Pacing Director, if applicable
- If there is not a pacing director, Photo Ops will guide guests out and direct them on which way to go

Second Queue
- Greets guests at the exit of the First Attraction
- Paces guests into the second attraction
- Uses walkie to call their Keeper when guests want to leave

Third Queue
- Greets guests at the exit of the Second Attraction
- Paces guests into third attraction
- Uses walkie to call their Keeper when guests want to leave

Zone 3: Store
Crypt Keeper
- Oversees Zone 3 and assists staff in this zone
- Assists with training while operational
- Ensures opening and closing checklists are done
- Ensures registers are stocked and working upon arrival
- Ensures materials in their zones are stocked (inventory sheet will be provided)
- Provides staff in their zone with breaks
- Works with team to keep store stocked, neat, and tidy
- Works directly with Event Lead whenever issues arise
Materials Needed
- Walkie Talkie
Exit Greeter
- Greets guests as they exit the attractions
- Ask about experience and be available to help problem solve
- Assist with keeping the store tidy and stocked when able
- Work directly with their Keeper to help solve any issues
- Receive feedback
Cashiers
- Runs their Registers
- Sells Photos and Merch
- Restocks items behind the counter throughout the night
- Keeps the Merch Counter Stocked, Clean, and Tidy
- Changes Printer Paper throughout the night
