All Fear Columbus guests are required to go through a walk-through metal detector and security screening checkpoint handled by a professionally trained 3rd party security company as well as the Columbus Police Department. To ensure the safety of all guests and employees, there is a strict no-weapons policy while anywhere on the property.
LEAVE ALL VALUABLES AT HOME
Please do not bring anything of value inside the facility. Fear Columbus is a very intense and interactive haunted house. Because of the countless jump scares, claustrophobic scenes, running, ect we do not want you to lose a valuable possession. We don’t want to spoil anything but lets just say you will understand why we are so strict on this rule after you complete the attraction!
Any item you intend to bring inside the facility must be fully secured in a pocket. You can not enter the attraction holding any items in your hands.
No bags of any kind are permitted inside the facility or waiting line.

Due to the physically demanding and unique interactive nature of this attraction, absolutely no items may be carried through the attraction. Any items you intend to bring into the facility must be secured in an actual pocket. We like to tell guests to prepare as if going on a rollercoaster!
LOST ITEMS WILL NOT BE SEARCHED FOR UNTIL THE NEXT DAY
We can not search for lost items until the next day once the fog has cleared and our overhead lights have come on. We take this very seriously so please secure any personal belongings in pockets or leave them at home. This is especially important for car keys, cell phones and wallets. Ensure they are securely stored prior to entering the facility!
PROFESSIONAL SECURITY TEAM
We contract one of the leading security companies in the state of Ohio to secure our facility both while we are open and 24/7 after business hours.
SECURITY CAMERAS
We have security cameras throughout all attractions, in all staff areas and offices and surrounding the entire outside of the facility. These cameras are monitored at all times.
POLICE OFFICERS
During operational hours we will always have police officers or deputy sheriffs on site.
TRAINED EVENT STAFF
